The Lord
allowed me to return home from South America with
the joy of knowing a new UnveilinGLORY (UG) regional
director and international trainer is now in place.
Ike Rhyu and I traveled to and conducted trainings
in Ecuador, Peru and Argentina with the express
purpose of accrediting him as a trainer in G3.
Ike is a vice
president with the Seed ministry and has been a
missionary from Korea to Mexico for many years. We
welcome him to the international team. This means
that UG now has three internationals acting as
directors and trainers: Peter Hidayat in Asia, Andy
Barnard in Africa, Ike Rhyu in Latin America, and as
God enables more will be added around the globe.
A ministry of
multiplication is sought in order to disseminate the
UG message and ministry world-wide. Many others are
representing UG in various regions and prayer for
them is encouraged. Please consult the Prayer
Calendar for updates on global operations and
personnel.
Of special
note is the trip of Bob and Debby Sjogren to
Australia for the next two weeks, and the ministry
of Mary and me to Taiwan and the Philippines (which
for me will include a trip to the Middle East) over
the next two months. Mary plans to return to the US
on May 10 and I plan to return on June 5 after which
Mary and I will celebrate our 40th
wedding anniversary.
Another
important directors' meeting in Richmond is
scheduled for late June, which for me will be
followed immediately by a trip to Colombia. The Lord
has allowed me to travel to Indonesia twice this
year to work primarily on the G3 flip chart, twice
to Singapore to conduct SuperDoc and G3 trainings
and once to the Philippines for the same purpose.
The goal is to transfer ownership of the UG ministry
to capable and passionate internationals as soon as
possible.
Thank you for
your support of this ministry. Many more
opportunities are opening and as God permits I hope
to make the most of them for God's global glory
specifically. Your participation continues to be a
source of great joy and satisfaction in the Lord for
Mary and me.
With
gratitude,
Jim and Mary Thurber
