Happy New Year in the Lord!!!

Thank you to those who sent Christmas greetings via snail mail, email or by electronic greeting cards!!!  Thank you for your love and desire to share His love with me!!!!  I had a good day with the Lord on Christmas and did spend some time with a family that comes here for church on Sundays.  I have done my best most years to get gifts for each of them as a relationship builder.  It was quite fun to see their reactions to what they received.  It is sad for me to see them going away when they graduate from high school as it is harder to stay in touch with them, but we do have a good relationship. : )

Some of you have asked why I use initials instead of a person's whole name.  That is a fair question especially when you are trying to pray for the many individuals I list!!!  The reason is many want prayer but don't want people to know their names.  I was also informed some time ago that I could be sued for using a person's whole name.  I took that seriously as you well know.  I will only use a whole name when the individual gives me the okay to do so.

Thank you for your prayers for "Clar" and her husband "A."  "Clar" attended Bible study with her mom the Sunday evening before Christmas and shared how "A" has gone backwards and has not been involved in church or Bible study.  "A's" friend never started up the study with him and apparently discouraged him from meeting with me.  "Clar" said it has been hard for her with his drinking.  She has been trying to be strong in the Lord and needing prayer for that.  They are still living in Gallup where there are a number of churches to attend but he had had no interest to that point.  Please be in prayer for them!!!!

Sarah has come for a couple Bible studies since my last update.  It is still apparent to me that she is struggling in her walk with the Lord.  We have had some time together besides Bible study, like yesterday with her family.  I had a good visit with them.

I've had some good opportunities with some young people over the past month to build deeper relationships and talk of the Lord and His values.  I don't know what the outcome will be and thankfully He is in charge of bringing forth the fruit!!!  One young man was on the verge of being baptized in the Mormon church.  He was invited to my home by his friend who then asked me to share a little about the differences between what Christians and Mormons believe.  I gave him a Bible and marked one verse that he requested to be marked.  He had much to think about but last I heard he did get baptized.  So, I'm praying the Lord will magnify His truth and bring this young man to saving faith in Jesus.

For those of you who are led of the Lord to support me financially please keep in mind American Indian Missions, Inc. address has changed.  Donations are now to be sent to: P.O. Box 1459, Gallup, NM 87305-1459.  For those who send donations through your bank please make that change too.  If your bank requires a phone # with this address it is:  505-778-5977.  My account # is 725.

Prayer Requests:

1. "A" to return to seeking the Lord and make a commitment to attending church;

2. "Clar" to be strong in the Lord;

3. Sarah for healing of her still very broken heart and for a new job;

4. For the Lord to do a mighty work here in Sanders.

Thank you for your prayers and financial support as the Lord leads and provides!!!!  Apart from Him we can do nothing, so in this new year may each of us daily remember that and be in the moment with Him depending upon Him. : )

In His Care,

Tobie Keiser
