Dear Praying Friends,

Greetings and Happy New Year in Christ!!!!  As the world's scene seems to be heating up I am thankful for God's Word telling us Who wins in the end!!!  Until then we have our part to live out with Him.  I'm so glad to belong to Him!!!!

As you may remember the youth group meetings that I had in my home for so many years were relocated to the church I am attending.  The youth pastor is a pretty laid back young husband who grew up here in Sanders.  I'm happy with the way we are working together as a team and I'm happy to be under his leadership. : )  He picks the songs then has me lead the music for the youth.  For now he has chosen to split the group up during the Bible study time with me teaching the girls and he takes the guys.  There are some unsaved youth attending and some we wonder about. : )  One girl has come in the past with a pretty tough exterior but the last two meetings I have seen pain in her face and curiosity she couldn't always hide.  She is one who is not a Christian yet.

Sarah had a hard time over Christmas, went into a deep, but thankfully temporary, depression.  I was privileged to be with her family again for their Christmas dinner.  I am thankful to the Lord for how her mom, who speaks almost no English, is warming up to me.  It is my prayer that she come to know the Lord.  Sarah's sister Della has retired from her job since she is taking chemo and sometimes cannot work.  She had no leave time hence the decision to retire.  Would like to see her start coming to Women's Bible study on Monday evenings. : )

"Do" and "Yve" are no longer together due to his increased drinking and physically abusing "Yve."  They never married which now appears to be a good thing.  "Yve" is wanting to get a restraining order once she's able to get all her I.D. and other important legal documents back from his mother which may require police intervention.

We have had some real wet snow a couple of times in the past four weeks with some melt off then temperatures down around 10 degrees at night and only getting into the low 30's during the day.  This makes for dangerous ground conditions for the horses, so I haven't been able to do much with them.  That gives me time to do inside work.  Christmas day I spent most of it alone with the Lord, watching Jesus of Nazareth and working a puzzle.  I really enjoy that!!  : )

The horses have a way of making fence repairs necessary from time to time.  I recently needed to replace a post that the gate was holding up.  I had "Ju" and his brother "Mar" work on it last week.  It was a challenge with the frozen ground.  I had them do some other fence repair then paid them and took them home.  In the process I learned that "Mar" is in some trouble for under age public intoxication.  He is not a believer.  I did say a few things and invited the guys to church again.  "Ju" acknowledged that he knew I was concerned for them because he has been doing some drinking as well.  He has not really been walking with the Lord for some time now.  At one point he had wanted to go to a Christian school.

Prayer Requests:
1.  Salvation and spiritual growth for youth in our group and outreach to more youth;
2.  Sarah and Della's spiritual growth and salvation for their mom;
3.  Salvation of "Do" and "Mar" and "Ju" to be drawn back to the Lord;
4.  Grace and wisdom for me in teaching and all my conversations.  I really desire to be an accurate reflection of God's heart for people, whom He loves above all creation.

Thank you for your partnership in this ministry through your prayers and financial gifts as the Lord leads you!!!!!

In His Care,

Tobie Keiser
