Dear Prayer Partners,

Thank you for investing your time in prayer for the people here as the Lord leads you!!!!  In my last update I mentioned that "Alv" had finished all requirements for graduation from high school and was set to go to Indian Bible College (IBC) in Flagstaff, AZ.  I was surprised to find out a couple weeks ago that she may not go because of no money.  I did not realize she still needed help getting applications in for scholarships or financial aide.  I had the opportunity to visit with her older sister last week and found out that "Alv" had been depended upon to help a family member get their funding for their schooling as well as get set up with their schooling.  One of the realities for many Navajo is the priority of helping family even to the sacrifice of what one might have wanted to do.  Her sister also informed me that "Alv" had really wanted to go to IBC but became very discouraged when she wasn't able to take care of funding.  I'm praying for God's clear guidance and provision for her.

I have had some great opportunities to talk with youth who have worked for me this past month.  I shared with three youth the message of the Gospel after they were through working and were waiting for their Mom to pick them up.  It was the first time they had heard it.  While working with a youth, who has been in youth group and is now attending church here in my home, he had many questions which I greatly enjoyed answering!!!  He is the one I mentioned was working for me for the month and seemed to be becoming disinterested in spiritual things.  He was much more involved this past Sunday. : )

This summer has been challenging for me due to the heat.  I'm getting older I guess!!!  It was wonderful to get help through the month of July so I could focus on progressing in Natural Horsemanship study and spending time with people!!!  Sarah and I did start doing visitation, though lately she has not been feeling well.  She has had a hard time with the heat this summer and most of the homes we would visit have no air conditioning.

Thank you for your financial and prayer support as the Lord leads and provides!!!!  God bless you for your sacrifice for His work!!!

In His Care,

Tobie Keiser
