Club Rules
Every clubber takes part in all activities unless they have a note from a parent.
Every clubber wears a uniform as soon as they are eligible.
Every clubber comes with their handbook.
A clubber who does not complete one section in three weeks will be
requested to stay home until they have one section ready to say.
Please help your clubber learn one section per week.
A whistle or the five count means that the clubbers come to attention and are quite.
Remember to initial each section memorized and recited to you at home.
Your child will then receive an extra Awana buck.
Attend all major events. Ask to see flyers that are sent home, keep in
contact with your child’s leader, and post the Awana calendar on
your refrigerator so that you know what is going on each week.
Children have more fun when Mom and Dad take an interest.
If you have any questions call Bethany Spoelstra at the church (267-2200)
Uniforms
The Sparks vest is an important part of the Award System. Clubbers are eligible to
purchase a uniform when they complete their Sparks' Gate Entrance Booklet. The vest can be purchased
from the Awana secretary the night your child completes the entrance booklet. The cost
is $15.00 for a vest. We suggest that you order one size larger than you need as kids grow quickly.
Dues
Clubbers do pay dues to help defray the cost of the awards, books, and prizes that provide
the incentive. You can register for $30.00 per year, which includes a book, or bring dues of
$1.00 per week. No one will be turned away because they cannot pay dues
Awana Store
Awana Shares are earned by completing sections in the Handbook. Clubbers may save these shares
to purchase various prizes in the Awana Store held on the 1st meeting of each month. Each
child is released to go the Awana Store after they have completed at least one section that
evening.
More Important Things!
Inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated. After 3 warnings, (the three count), in one night,
parents will be called to come and take their child home.
